AAE takes in as many horses as possible; always making room if it is possible to accommodate the ever increasing need to house these magnificent animals who are abandoned, abused, and neglected. The changes in the disposition of the horses after a few months is amazing. The director of this wonderful organization uses her every spare moment to work both as a team with the volunteers and alone to keep them safe and healthy. She has spent sleepless nights sitting with horses in danger of not making it until morning....her dedication is inspiring.
