Joining Shape Health and Fitness was probably the best decision I have ever made when it comes reaching my fitness goals.
Like many others, I struggled with my body image and tried almost everything to lose weight and see the changes in my body. I would go to group classes at the gym up to five times a week, and like many others who are unsure of what to do, I hopped on the cardio machines and hoped I'd end up with a ripped body. After putting countless hours in following this plan, I saw the numbers drop but never saw the tone and definition I was looking for.
Frustrated, I would give up for a few months, then out of desperation I tried some of the more popular, extreme workout plans that promised a whole body transformation in 60-90 days. I have tried P90X, Beachbody Insanity, and even CrossFit. What was the result? Over-exhaustion and injury.
I needed a program more tailored to my own fitness level that pushed me hard enough, but never to the point of injury, and I can honestly say that I have had the most success with Shape Health and Fitness. The trainers truly gave me the personal attention I needed to challenge my body and do so safely. After only 5 short weeks, I lost 10 lbs., my whole body is more toned, and for the first time I am finally starting to see my abs!
I love both my trainers, Vernia Smith and Janna! They are both so knowledgeable, supportive and hilarious! Working out with them is so much fun :)
