Using a groupon and having been to other boxes, i walked into Rocklin Crossfit. Everyone is really welcoming and supportive. I arrived my first day and spoke with both owners, Gary and Todd. Both were very inviting, fun to talk to, and made me feel at home. In my mind, RCF epitomizes the actual box feel. I was very impressed with all the options that come with a membership. Outside of the normal crossfit classes, RCF offers strength classes and bootcamp classes. Now, I am not a newbie to barbells and gyms, I've played collegiate football and have done many strength and power movements throughout my playing days. Going into RCF, I was very pleased my first day, what I thought was a strength of mine was corrected in utilizing proper form and technique. I already feel much better in my performance! I love the fact that the coaches take the time and effort to look around at everyone's technique. You will never find a coach static, sitting in one place during a class. The coaches are constantly moving, viewing everyone, providing coaching for proper technique and providing a fun atmosphere. Best of all, they are always open to questions. The people at the box create a fun atmosphere. Whether your time on Fran was 10 minutes or 2 minutes, you will be congratulated for your effort. You are not forced into an environment to always compare to other athletes; rather, it is a place where people push you past your limits and help you reach new heights.
